Cambridge Inter-Collegiate Christian Union (CICCU) is a group of students from across the different colleges who love Jesus and want to share him with others! We believe the Bible’s teaching about his life, death and resurrection, and the hope and new life God offers us through Jesus. Our doctrinal basis (our core beliefs) is here.
CICCU is not a church! Our members go to lots of different churches in Cambridge, and we think it’s super important to be part of the local church. If you’d like to go to church with someone, our secretary Rachel Ollis can put you in touch with someone!
CICCU was started in 1877 by students, and is still going by God’s grace. It’s one of many Christian Unions in universities across the UK and across the world.

Our constitution can be found here, and our current executive committee here.
Our aim is to give every student at Cambridge the opportunity to hear the good news about Jesus. There are lots of ways we try to do this, including:
- Big annual events, especially our Events Week, a week filled with lunchtime apologetics, evening talks and international dinners
- College groups, which give the chance to meet in small groups and study the Bible together
- Initial Encounters, giving students the chance to chat and ask any questions they have about faith, the Bible and God
If you’d like to find out more or get involved, you’re welcome at any of our events! College group is an especially good place to get started - you can find details of your college group here.
