We'd love for you to meet us and see what we're about! Here are some ways you can get involved.
Students starting university
Grassroots mission teams in colleges
We spend most of our time in college, so most of what we do as a CU happens on a college level. 'College Groups' work together to support one another in prayer, and to equip each other to share the gospel with friends in college. Most college groups meet on Saturday evenings.
Each group is led by one or two reps, who help to coordinate the group. They would love to hear from you if you'd like to get involved – find your college group reps here!
Equipping and encouraging one another for witness in your subject
Alongside time in Colleges much of our time is spent doing that degree we signed up for. Each subject can present unique challenges towards living distinctively for Jesus and making him known in our departments and so these groups provide a great opportunity to meet with others who share the same challenges. Most groups consist of meeting to encourage and pray for each other regularly but also provide a great forum to organise subject specific events.
These groups are rather fluid in nature and vary in each subject to be as helpful and relavent as possible. If you want to find out more about what is going on in your subject have a look at the contacts listed here. If you can't see your subject on the list and would like to try and organise something get in contact with Preeti.
Join us in our witness in Cambridge
Becoming a member of CICCU is a way of declaring your faith in Jesus, showing commitment to God's mission in Cambridge, and demonstrating a desire to serve him for his glory.
Membership also helps us to support one another in this joint witness.

Reaching the world
People from all over the world come to study at Cambridge. There's lots going on for International students, and we'd love to meet you while you're here!
We support a free weekly café called Compass Café, and it's open to anyone, especially international undergraduates and international language school students! It's on every Friday from 5-7pm in the Livingstones Café, St. Andrew's Street Baptist Church – you can find more information on the Compass website.
If you'd like any information, or just to say hello, just email Lydia!
Pray for CICCU
We have a prayer diary which gives you something to pray about every day in term. You can receive the prayer diary straight to your phone via the PrayerMate app – find us under the Evangelism section.
For more about how you can pray for us, or to sign up for our prayer emails, contact
Jonathan, our prayer secretary.
How to support us financially
As a CU, we have expenses (such as room hire, publicity, catering), so we're very reliant on giving, both from CU members and from those outside the CU. As well as putting on our own events, we also give to various groups to help support gospel work throughout the world.

How you can support us
We're hugely grateful for all the support we get from alumni. The CICCU owes so much to the generous, prayerful work of alumni. If you'd like to join in with that ongoing support, there are a few ways you can do so.
If you'd like to know how to pray for us, then we can send you our termly prayer letter! You can also receive our termly finance letter and termcard. We can send it all by email or post. Just email Jonathan Lancaster, the Prayer Secretary.
The other main way you can support us is financially. If you'd like to do that then all the information you need is here.
